during the 2019 MLB season and taken out of play after game 1 of the doubleheader on July 18, 2019 at Yankee Stadium.  The jersey features the interlocking "NY" on front, with the number "55" on back.  Majestic FlexBase Size 44.  Black armband on left sleeve in memory of Mel Stottlemyre.  "MLB 150" patch on right sleeve.
The jersey is authenticated by Major League Baseball with hologram JB720308.  The jersey also has a hologram from Fanatics.
German pithched 6 innings, striking out 5 and earning his 12th win of the season.
Of note, this game featured the epic rant by Yankees manager Aaron Boone where he called his batters "fu**in savages" and was ejected in the 2nd inning.
