    Description

    Handmade Ant Moat Guard for Hummingbird feeders or Oriole feeders.
    The small bucket holds 1/4 cup of water.
    Both top and bottom hooks are 7/8 inch, for easy hanging.
    Ants will not cross water, so just fill the bucket with water and refill as needed.
    I have found that the weight of an Oriole, on my Oriole feeder will sway the
    feeder when the bird first lands, so it is best to only fill the mote about 3/4
    full so the water doesn't splash over.
    Hummers have no problem, as the little ones don't sway the bucket.
    The bucket is metal painted white, with a wooden piece of Oak and two metal plastic coated hooks.
    Hang by the hook, not the metal handle.
    All are water tested so there are no leaks, prior to listing.
    I started out making these for my bird-watching friends and they loved them so much,
    I decided to pass them on so others may enjoy deterring the ants that annoy and mess
    up our feathered friends meal.
