    Description

This is an original laminated pass for Journey's 1986 Raised on Radio tour. This was the first tour not to have founding member Ross Valory, or drummer Steve Smith in the lineup or on the album (Smith did help on a few tracks), and their last tour with Steve Perry. Perry produced this album himself after proving his abilities on his 1984 solo album "Street Talk". Ross Valory was replaced by session bassists Randy Jackson and Bob Glaub, and Steve Smith was replaced by Larrie Londin and Mike Baird recording the album. For the tour, Mike Baird and bassist/backing vocalist Randy Jackson played in place of Steve Smith and Ross Valory. The tour was videotaped by MTV and made into a documentary as part of their series "VH-1 Behind the Music". After the tour, Steve Perry quit the band as he had grown tired of touring. He made a brief comeback for their 1996 album "Trial By Fire". The pass is in good pre-owned condition with some storage/age wear on the laminate. It measures approximately 2-1/2" x 4-1/4".
