    RIAA Certified Platinum Sales Award "Floater" Style ,1978.
    Presented to Don DeGraff "to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 sales of the Columbia Records long-playing record album "Infinity"". The award is "floater" format (the plaque is mounted to the matte so that it appears to float) which is the correct style for the period - "Infinity" was certified platinum by the RIAA on 10 October, 1978. With maker's sticker to the back "Creative Glassics...N.J."
    In Very Good to Excellent condition, with minimal wear to frame/front, several tears to brown paper backing - see photos.
    Donnell "Don" Degraf worked in music sales in the 1970s for Columbia Records in San Francisco. Journey were formed in San Francisco in 1973.
    Infinity
    is the fourth studio album by Journey and the first to feature lead singer Steve Perry (also the last to include drummer Aynsley Dunbar.)  It was the band's first platinum record in the US and the album ultimately went 3 x platinum, selling more than 3 million copies.
