Outfielder ADAM PIATT
Size 46 with +1" body length #6 2002 Oakland Athletics game used/issued jersey road gray with elephant patch on left sleeve.
I have been able to surmise that this jersey, along with others from the A's and other teams in the 2002 era, were either used or prepared for use by Majestic for the production of the 2011 released movie MONEYBALL.  In 2002, Rawlings actually was the supplier of jersey for the A's...so, there isn't any Majestic logo on the sleeve...
This jersey does not appear to have any use...the wash tag does have the inspection stickers on it.
The jersey remains in solid physical condition with no issues.
There is a large velcro chest closure.
Jersey is made of traditional knit material.
Wash tag has the
size 46
, made in USA, and, care instructions noted.  The 100% polyester info is noted, as is the professional knit fabric code 0062
. ...there is also a +1" body tag.  The inspection stickers remain on the tag.
The jersey has "
OAKLAND
" sewn on the front of the jersey in green outlined in gold.  Below is a small
"6"
.  On the back of the jersey is a large
"6"
in gold framed in white...
"PIATT"
is sewn to jersey above on a gray nameplate in the same green outlined in gold colors.
The
"ELEPHANT"
patch is on the left shoulder sleeve.
