    Description

    I would call this reel vintage, even though it's in excellent condition, because I fished with a 308 in the mid 70's.  Did so, spin fishing for trout, because the bail release was the quickest of any reel made and to catch trout before the rooster tail sank to the moss a foot and a half below the surface.  I bought this at an estate and he must have been a collector because it doesn't look like it was used but a time or two and it has the original box, paperwork, and the extra spool.  I used a 308 (right-handed reel) but this one is a 309 (left-handed reel).  Very rare to find one in this good shape.
