Ultimate Hiking Stick

Description

The Ultimate Hiking Stick is made from hardwood and steel.  It has a 6" spike pressed into and riveted to the metal ferrule.  It weighs about 2.6lbs and is 60" long overall - tall enough to lean on with bent elbows for the ultimate comfort and maximum assistance as a third point of contact while hiking.  Especially In Rocks!  The pointed steel tip grabs onto rocks like a mountain goat's hooves!  Try this on a rocky hike and you will never go back to a blunt wooden stick!!  Tested in the Hocking Hills of Ohio, this thing really works.  I leave the steel spike in its natural oiled finish from the steel mill since that provides the best long term protection.
