Airex Mastereel Mod.3 spin reel
This small spin reel was made in the USA in the early 50s and weighs 10.5oz. It is in excellent condition for its age & works very well. It has a good hook bail, smooth drag, good anti-reverse and a black & silver
colored metal body and a aluminum spool. This reel has a 3.3/1 gear ratio and will hold 160 yds. of 6 lb. test, it is a good quality reel, it is a grade 8+/9+. Cosmetically it has paint wear to the black body parts. This is really a collectible but it is still a very fishable reel .
If you are not happy with an item, returns are fine for full refund minus shipping.
The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
