True Temper 340 (Ocean City 300) spin reel
This medium size spin reel was made in the USA in the late 50s and early 60s and weighs 12.5 oz. It is in good condition for its age & works. It is the middle of the three sizes of these reels made. It has a good bail, smooth drag, free rolling roller, good anti-reverse, and a black
colored metal body. This reel has a 3.3/1 gear ratio and will hold 250 yds. of 8 lb. test, it is a fairly good quality reel, it is a grade 7+/8. Cosmetically it has marks to the paint in the regular spots throughout .

The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
